Good idea. I appreciate that Rep. Buck was disgusted at the dysfunction of the House, but vacating his seat--not trying to fix the problem--is not the solution. Maybe there should be a forfeiture of retirement benefits for Members that resign mid-term without a medical excuse or some other excuse deemed appropriate by the House Ethics Committee (something like taking care of a seriously ill spouse or child).
