I agree with you that Biden is succeeding in his most important job: not being Trump. I would add “helping America recover from Trump.”

I would disagree with you that it is somehow inappropriate to ask questions about Biden or to discuss his shortcoming (including gaffes that might reflect other problems) and mistakes (I count the exit from Afghanistan as an example). My hope is that the President and his team will learn from the feedback and improve.

As I said in the piece, we are not doing Biden a favor by pretending all is okay.
