Thanks for the comment. It is obviously legitimate to question the health or fitness of the president. What I sought to convey is that references to Biden’s age that seek to discredit him are ageism. Two examples are the comments of Donald Trump, Jr. and Stephen Miller. Trump himself regularly ridiculed Biden on the basis of his age throughout 2020.

Criticism of Biden that seeks to portray him as a doddering old fool that cannot get through a press conference without notes or who hesitates occasionally mid-sentence is, in my view, ageism.
