Thanks for your comment. I agree with you. I am surprised by the movement to take down monuments to Washington, Lincoln, Grant and others. I agree that there is a false equivalency when they are put in the same category as R.E. Lee and Jefferson Davis.

I was born in Washington, D.C. and would not support renaming it.
