Thanks for your response. I may be missing something (probably am), but I don't see anything likeable in Trump--nothing. I've been reading "Lucky Loser," which is written by two credible NYT reporters and it presents a picture of a grifter that has lied his entire life, inspired by his father but going beyond it.

As I said in the piece, Harris should do more than just hope Trump implodes. My problem is that I believe Trump is a danger to democracy. That is why I think journalists need to think twice before focusing on Harris while assuming that "nothing new" is going on with Trump.
