Tony, thanks for reading the piece. From what I know about Sinema, I agree with you. The piece was meant to express support for less partisanship. I wasn't endorsing Sinema. I remain concerned that extreme partisanship in Washington is a problem. When I read Sinema's explanation of her decision, I thought it was worthy of writing an article. It may have been disingenuous, but it spoke to the problem of party rigidity.
